Description
This comfortable cottage is located on the edge of the beautiful Cotswolds, making it ideal for touring and visiting the beautiful surrounding villages. The cottage sleeps 4 comfortably with one large double bedroom and full size bunk beds. There are also a cot, high chair and stairgate available. Also included is the shared use of the owners luxurious new 27ft by 13ft indoor swimming pool (please bring your own swimming towels) A games room, with a full size table tennis table, and many toys and games will keep your children amused! The bathroom has a bath with electric shower over, and heated towel rail. Downstairs, you will find a large, well equipped kitchen/diner and a comfortable lounge. A separate entrance porch gives you space to discard any wet items! There is a small fenced garden with patio furniture and a barbeque. We can also safely store your bikes for you if you wish to go cycling. All linen and towels, tea towels etc are provided for you with a welcome tea tray on arrival. Power is included (except for a small surcharge Oct - Easter) Historic Stratford upon Avon is approx 6 miles with attractive shops, riverside park, recreation area, and, of course Shakespeare. Warwick, with its magnificent castle, Leamington Spa and Broadway are all within 15 miles. Racing at Cheltenham 25 miles. The cottage is set on a quiet working farm, with a good choice of pubs/restaurants within 5 miles. NEC approx 40 mins.

Lying at the very heart of England, Warwickshire is best known as “Shakespeare’s County”. And taking a break in our holiday cottages in Warwickshire is the perfect way to explore the history of our greatest playwright. At Stratford-upon-Avon, you’ll find Shakespeare’s birthplace, the famous Anne Hathaway’s Cottage and the Royal Shakespeare Theatre, where you can enjoy an outstanding performance of one of the great bard’s creations.
Our Warwickshire cottage holidays are also a great opportunity to visit the beautifully preserved Warwick Castle. This is one of the UK’s top visitor attractions, and a great family favourite, where key moments in the history of this great building are re-created. The gardens here are also very impressive. If you’re into antiques, then you’ll definitely want to take a stroll around Warwick with its many specialist antique shops.
Then there’s Kenilworth Castle, England’s largest castle ruins, and a major historic site. There’s a marvellous collection of paintings, china and furniture, not to mention some great facilities for children, at Ragley Hall, a fine palladian house near Alcester – another must see during your cottage holiday in Warwickshire. And with its fine Georgian and Victorian buildings, Royal Leamington Spa offers a touch of elegance as well as some top quality shopping.
